I loved Macaroons growing up, especially those little chocolate hershey kiss shaped ones that came in those giant boxes at Christmas. These taste so good, you can’t even tell that they’re good for you and filled with healthy fats, omega 3’s, antioxidants ad fibre.
Raw Chocolate Macaroons (Vegan, Paleo, GF, DF)
You will need:
- 3 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup raw cacao or cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- pinch himalayan or sea salt
- 1/2 tsp true cinnamon
In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients and mix until well combined. Drop onto cookie sheet and cool in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, to let harden. Store in the fridge in an air tight container.
