Are you an oatmeal lover? Is it a part of your daily routine? Well if you’re bored of plain old oatmeal, kick it up a notch with this Peanut Butter Cup Protein Oatmeal. It’s gluten free, dairy free, and has 29g of protein. The combination of healthy fats, protein and carbs will definitely keep you feeling full, and is great for a high carb training day.
For this recipe, you will need:
- 1 cup gluten free rolled oats
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 tbsp all natural peanut butter
- 1/2-1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1 tsp pure cacao powder
In a bowl, mix the oats, coconut milk and cacao powder. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, and then microwave for another minute. Let the oatmeal cool for abut 3 minutes. Add the protein powder, stir well, and then add the peanut butter, stir until combined. Feel free to top with a dollop of peanut butter and a few dark chocolate chips 🙂
