This Green Coconut Mango Smoothie is vegan, gluten free, and dairy free. It’s full of Vitamin A, C, fibre and antioxidants to strengthen your immune system. I aim to have one green smoothie a day because it’s one of the easiest ways to get tons of leafy greens that are easy for your body to breakdown and absorb. Smoothies can provide the nutrition, vitamins, minerals, healthy carbohydrates, fibre, protein and healthy fats that your body needs. You can add tons of extra benefits, like protein and chia seeds, that will further enhance the nutritional value of your drink.
You will need:
- 2 cups organic spinach
- 1 cup frozen organic mango
- 1/2 medium ripe organic banana
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup filtered water
- 1 tbsp unsweetened organic fine coconut, plus some to sprinkle on top
- optional: chia seeds, ground flax seeds, hemp seeds, protein powder, coconut oil, mct oil
Combine all ingredients in the blender and top with fine coconut. If you find the smoothie too thick, add more water until your desired consistency.
