I LOVE Avocados. I could eat them at every meal with no complaints! Whether it’s adding guacamole to a salad or spreading mashed avocado on toast with eggs for breakfast, I can always find a way to incorporate them.

Not only do they taste delicious, but they provide our bodies with so many of the essential fats and nutrients that we need! They’re an easy way to increase the amount of fat in your diet and will keep you feeling full longer.

Healthy Fats are super important. They help restore the proper balance of good bacteria in our gut, promote protein synthesis, help reduce inflammation, reduce joint stiffness and help improve your digestion. Omega’s are also critical for healthy and youthful hair, skin and nails!

Avocados have 20 different vitamins and minerals, with a low carb content, lots of fibre, some protein and a healthy dose of fat. This “fruit” has more potassium than bananas and they help increase antioxidant absorption of other foods.

The short and simple lesson that I hope you take away from this post, is that no matter if you’re trying to lose weight or gain lean mass, avocados are essential to your diet. They will keep you satiated and strengthen your immune system.

and yes I know, guac costs extra, but it’s worth it.
